Salt
Red Chili Powder
Ginger Garlic paste
Coriander
Pudina
Onion
Green chili
Preparation:
1. Remove all the dirt ,the dead skin layer and clean the fish with fresh water and drain the water completely.
2.Add 1 table spoon of salt, 2 table spoons of red chili powder and 1table spoon of ginger garlic paste to the fish pieces and marinate the mixture for an hour.Make sure to mix well ( with hand) so that the ingredients are evenly distributed to the fish pieces.Take a look below
3.Take freshly cleaned coriander, pudina, green chilies and a onion for grinding.
4. Grind( in a mixer) them into paste( neither thick nor thin) and keep it aside.
5.An hour later, once again just mix up the fish pieces and keep them ready for fry.Use a non stick pan for frying the fish.Non-stick will make the fish fry without the necessity of oil.You can add half a spoon of oil on to each piece if you require. If non stick is not available use a regular pan which we use for dosa or chapati.
6.Fry them on the pan until the skin color of fish changes to brown( may be a time of mins for frying both sides of the fish).Once it is done put it aside.
7.Take a vessel add half spoon oil and add the mixture of green paste and fry it till the raw smell wipes out( 3 mins would do)
8.Add the fried fish pieces to the mixture and let the fish get soaked in the green paste.(5 mins would do).
